Foundation Enrolment

Children are eligible for school if they turn five prior to 30 April in the year they attend.  If your child was born 1 May 2019 – 30 April 2020 they are eligible to attend school in 2025.

The Holy Trinity Catholic Parish is in a major growth corridor in the Western suburbs of Melbourne and all five primary schools have a catchment area: Queen of Peace, Lumen Christi, Stella Maris, St Martin De Porres, St Mary of the Cross. Please visit schools’ websites for zone maps.

Applications will be considered in the following order of priority:

  • Baptised Catholic​ children residing in Queen of Peace zone
  • Brothers and sisters of students currently enrolled in the school
  • Baptised​ children from Christian religions that share a special relationship with the history and traditions of the Catholic Church
  • Non-Catholic children

Enrolment Process & Timeline for Foundation 2025

1. SCHOOL TOURS: 9:30 and 10:15am March 5, 6 & 7.  Please register for a tour HERE and gather outside the school office five minutes prior to your tour.  Enrolment Packs may be collected from the office following your tour, or a digital version can be emailed on request.
2. APPLICATIONS OPEN: Tuesday 12 March 2024 (link to online applications to come)
3. APPLICATIONS CLOSE:
Thursday 28 March 2024
4. INTERVIEW:
Monday 29 April – Friday 10 May 2024 *Now Monday 6 – Friday 13 May 2024
5. OFFER OF PLACE: To be emailed 28 June 2024
6. ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER:  By Friday 2 August 2024
7. TRANSITION / ORIENTATION PROGRAM: Mid-late November

Queen of Peace Primary School’s Enrolment Policy is consistent with the Enrolment Policy for the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) and adhered to by the five primary schools in the Holy Trinity Catholic Education Community.
