Foundation Enrolment for 2027

Children are eligible for school if they turn five prior to 30 April in the year they attend.  If your child was born 1 May 2021 – 30 April 2022, they are eligible to attend school in 2027.

The Holy Trinity Catholic Parish is in a major growth corridor in the Western suburbs of Melbourne and all five primary schools have a catchment area: Queen of Peace, Lumen Christi, Stella Maris, St Martin De Porres, St Mary of the Cross. Please visit schools’ websites for zone maps.

Applications will be considered in the following order of priority:

  • Baptised Catholic​ children residing in Queen of Peace zone
  • Brothers and sisters of students currently enrolled in the school
  • Baptised​ children from Christian religions that share a special relationship with the history and traditions of the Catholic Church
  • Non-Catholic children

1. PARENT INFORMATION SESSION FOR FOUNDATION 2026 – Tuesday 3 March  – 6:30pm to 7:30pm at Queen of Peace Primary School

2. SCHOOL TOURS: Tuesday 9:15 and 10:00am on 17 and 24 March  Wednesday 9:15 and 10:00am on 18 and 25 March Thursday 9:15am and 10:00am on 19 and 26 March

3. APPLICATIONS OPEN: Thursday 5 March 2026 (link to online applications to come)

4. APPLICATIONS CLOSE: Friday 3 April 2026

5. INTERVIEW:  Monday 18 May to Friday 29 May 2026

6. OFFER OF PLACE: Emailed on Friday 19 June 2026

7. ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER:  By Friday 3 July 2026

8. TRANSITION / ORIENTATION PROGRAM: November 2026

Foundation 2027 Application Form.

You will be required to fill out this form completely and pay the application fee before you will be able to submit.

Applications close on Friday 3 April. Please note, that the school office will close at 2:00 pm on Thursday 2 April and reopen on Monday 20 April for the term break. We encourage you to get your applications in before the office closes in case you require some assistance.

Enrolments for the current year

Queen of Peace Primary School is happy to accept enrolment enquiries for Years 1–6 at any time during the year.

As at March 10, 2026, we have availability in the following year levels:

  • Foundation (Prep)
  • Year 1
  • Year 2
  • Year 4 (limited)

All other year levels are at capacity. We invite enquiries for these levels but do not have room currently.

Queen of Peace Primary School’s Enrolment Policy is consistent with the Enrolment Policy for the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) and adhered to by the five primary schools in the Holy Trinity Catholic Education Community.
